**Update - 27 July 2020**
From 13 July we began a phased reopening of our libraries.
These libraries are already open: Oxfordshire County, Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester, Blackbird Leys, Carterton, Cowley, Didcot, Headington, Henley, Kidlington, Summertown, Thame, Wantage and Witney.
The fourth phase of libraries to reopen on 3 August are: Berinsfield, Chipping Norton, Eynsham and Wallingford libraries.
All libraries are currently closing no later than 5 o'clock every day. This will also apply to all libraries in the future as they continue to be opened.
The general advice is that everyone (with a few exceptions) should wear a face covering when in an enclosed space; this includes libraries.
All items you return to Oxfordshire libraries are being quarantined for at least 72 hours. This is to protect both library staff and customers. Your items will remain on your account for at least three days before being processed. They won't become subject to fines and you can still borrow new items.
We have extended the due dates for all items due back between 19 March and 16 August (inclusive). These items will not be due back before October and no overdue charges will apply to these items during this period.
All items borrowed on or after Monday 27 July must be returned or renewed by their due date, to avoid incurring charges.
The library catalogue allows you to search all the titles in Oxfordshire's public libraries. To search the catalogue enter a title or author in the search box at the top of the page and click 'Go', or use the advanced search.
Charges for reservations and audio-visual items can be found on our charges page. You will need to sign in using the account box if you wish to reserve or renew items.
