This service is for new members only. Please do not fill in this form if you already have a library membership card.
Anyone who lives in the United Kingdom is welcome to join Oxfordshire Libraries. It is free to join. Everyone can join online, but if you are under 16 we will need the name and address of a parent, guardian or carer. Once you are a member you can borrow and return items at any Oxfordshire library.
As soon as you receive your library card you can use your borrower number and library Personal Identification Number (PIN) to reserve items from the library catalogue.
Your library card will be posted to you within 7 working days. If you are under 16 it will be posted to your parent or guardian.
If you join online in a library, please collect your library card from the counter the same day. You will need to provide some personal identification.
If you are housebound or have a reading impairment, please ask library staff for options that could help provide a better service for you.
Information supplied by you will be processed to provide and monitor library services in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Details of items borrowed by members aged under 16 years may be given to parents or guardians on request. The information you provide on this form will not be used for any other purposes or shared with any third parties without your express content unless required by law. The information will be stored securely as an electronic record. You have the right to have any inaccurate information corrected. You are responsible for informing us where and when your personal details change so that we can update our records accordingly.
