**Update - 16 September 2020**
Please do not come to the library if you have symptoms of cold, flu or Covid-19.
Oxfordshire Libraries are currently in a phased re-opening of their branch network, for more details please visit Oxfordshire Libraries website. Please note that some of our libraries opening hours have changed – please check before travelling.
During lockdown, due dates for library loans were extended to avoid customers incurring overdue charges. This period has been extended until the first week of November.
Any items borrowed since libraries began reopening in July have been on a standard loan period (3 weeks for books, and 1 week for DVDs).
Please note that with effect from 2 November 2020 all library loans must be renewed or returned to avoid incurring charges.
When we are ready to safely open further libraries this will be publicised on the internet, facebook and twitter.
All libraries are currently closing no later than 5 o'clock every day. The general advice is that everyone (with a few exceptions) should wear a face covering when in an enclosed space; this includes libraries.
All items you return to Oxfordshire libraries are being quarantined for at least 72 hours. This is to protect both library staff and customers. Your items will remain on your account for at least three working days before being processed. They won't become subject to fines and you can still borrow new items.
The library catalogue allows you to search all the titles in Oxfordshire's public libraries. To search the catalogue enter a title or author in the search box at the top of the page and click 'Go', or use the advanced search.
Charges for reservations and audio-visual items can be found on our charges page. You will need to sign in using the account box if you wish to reserve or renew items.
